Default Help: Acts like hit rev limiter?

When its at the top of first it acts like its hitting the rev limiter right before it shifts. Then it keeps sputtering through 2nd and into third. I don't have a clue what the problem could be, so I need help. Any suggestions?

I'll check it but it was just cleaned about a month ago. Nobody else has any ideas?

Well, I thought that I found the problem. I went out to clean the MAFS and damned if some ******* had stole my K&N air filter. The sensor that plugs into the lid was unplugged and my filter was gone. The car has only been in my garage and nowhere else. I have thousands of dollars in tools in the garage the car was open and my GTech is right there and the only thing gone was the filter! Anyways I cleaned the MAFS and replaced the filter and it still does it.

It's possible that it is tagging the rev limiter due to how fast it is building rpm's and how long it takes the trans to shift.

Does it make sense that it could all of a sudden start doing this? I had it tuned and it has been running fine for a month and a half after the tune. Plus wouldn't it just do it right at the shift point? It continues to do it even after it shifts. It did the same exact thing to me when I first bought the car and all I had to do was clean the MAFS. I pulled the MAFS and sprayed the hell out of it with cleaner and it still does it. Can a MAFS go bad?

Check your plugs and plug wires. My car was doing the samething and it was found that I had a plug that was bad.
