I know its not really where I wanna be...but I figure if I go that route I will have the ls1 to put back in if I want to plus I have two other vehicles I drive and thats just a weekend/fun car, but im not 100% sure yet on what im gonna do.

Im still debating what I am going to do. I might just pick up a 5.3 and boost 14 pounds and spray 100 shot on top of it and just put arp2000 bolts on it and transfer my cam and intake and stuff over from the ls1 and pray it holds since thats cheaper than forging the ls1
