installed 04+ valley cover.....retune needed?
installed 04+ valley cover.....retune needed? I just installed the '04+ pcv valley cover and a rev xtreme catch can on my 98 LS1. Mods are listed in my signature. The car was tuned with a pcv valve in the rear of the drivers side valve cover. It seems to have lost throttle response with the new system. It also sounds very different. It appears that it is pulling much less air into the intake through the new system. When I tried to pull one of the hoses off of the catch can with the engine running, there appeared to be vacuum in the can. Can that be making the engine run rich? Is a retune necessary? All help is appreciated.
