Anybody using EGR with LSX yet?
Anybody using EGR with LSX yet? It sounds like there is a provision for it, but is anybody still using their EGR with the new intake? Just curious if there's anything special involved in reinstalling the EGR pipe...

Thought I'd bring this back to the top. Is the LSX intake EGR compatible with a couple of simple tweaks? Or, more to the point, can a person staple an EGR setup to it long enough to pass emissions... then go quickly back to non-EGR?

Well I thought about goin with the EGR on my LSX, but have decided against it.
I decided to keep the PCV system because the car is driven.
I do not want the EGR to cook any possible oil vapors onto the manifold that the PCV pulls in thru the catch can.
Plus it is easily deleted from the PCM anyway, so no EGR.
+ I couldnt cut up that new intake for a EGR tube & then retain the feed tube with a self tapper?
Once you cut the hole out for the EGR your pretty much dedicated to always having the tube there or a plug.
