Ls1 bolt ons
Ls1 bolt ons Hey i just had a quick question for people who know these ls1 motors really well.
If i had an ls1 motor most likely a dropout from an 04 gto and put a 1s6 intake manifold, a 224 or 228 cam, 243 heads, and ported the stock throttle body how much power would it potentially be giving me. Keep in mind its going to go into an rx8, so the exhaust side of the build i wouldn't have that many options because of fitment issues, and they would custom made.
I have searched an seen a lot of different hp numbers so i am posting this hopefully to get a close spread of numbers for whp thanks guys.
Also on a side note, if i just did the ls6 intake, ported throttle body, and a 224 or 228 cam would it even be worth it without the heads on there. Thanks again
