Yes you did, I was about the pull the trigger before PMing you. Looks like you saved me from getting screwed over as well

damn i cant beleive people are STILL fighting him! it did take me a few months to get my headers from him. i ordered mine before i knew anything about the angle of the drivers collector thinking a TSP duals would work... i was wrong!

after making serveral complaints via his "website" a negative trader rating on ebay, and several calls a day (i beleive i set a record of 40 calls in 1 day no joke!!!) i finally received my order.

on the flip side... the headers do look amazing! just a shame i had to order a universal x-pipe from summit and have a local exhaust shop fab it in

^Thats the worst part about all this for those people he didnt screw is that everyone who actually got their headers from him said they were quality. I wish he didnt suck at running a business..

I just do not understand you guys. I am sorry you guys got screwed. But a lesson should be learned here. Buy from a real business like the sponsors. Also this guy didnt make anything. He just reboxed a chinese obx/ssautochrome header.

So sponsors won't screw you, lol... yeah! I've been burned by more sponsors than ebay and forum classifieds. I have also come across many threads here where I have seen banned sponsors so there's no 100% with them neither!

Also has anyone proven that his LTH were reboxed OBX or SSAC?

I am in no way defending this guy; if he screwed anyone over, he should have his ***** served to him, but to say "lesson learn... buy from a sponsor," is going a little far.

If $$ allows it, I will support our sponsors, but I will have the same concerns till the transaction is completed to MY satisfaction.

Biggest defining feature is the goofy way the driver's collector angles back up, but yep, I'm going to say the "LSXtreme" headers were the exact same as the generic ebay LS1 headers.

beleive me.. lesson learned but at what cost? i dont have $500 to spend on just headers and when i had a chance to spend $300 on stainless steel long tubes, i jumped on it! sure pacestters could have done the trick but i dont want to pull them off in a year or 2 b/c of rust. cant really blame me there

givin the fact i got them off ebay, i was planning on having them in a week off a warehouse shelf not 2 months of BS from them

What everyone seems to be ignoring with the "stainless" thing is that there are different types of stainless steel, and you can be damned sure Chinese headers aren't using the same thing as Kooks and ARH.

Ceramic-coated headers rust, but it's surface rust - rarely do you ever hear about a set of Pacesetters so badly rusted, the merge and collectors are shot and the headers have to be replaced. Hell, I daily'd my car for 5, almost 6 years through WV and KS winters, and while my Pacesetters looked ugly when they came off, once I hit them with a wire brush, they cleaned up fine - no pinhole leaks, no weak spots, nothing but surface rust.

Stainless is nice, but it seems like people are getting caught up in buying stainless headers for the wrong reasons, and ignoring the old "too good to be true" adage. Tough lesson, but like I said, cheap parts inevitably lead to cussing in the garage. If you can't afford $500 for headers, then wait until you can - no one's going to stop selling parts for 4th gen f-bodies in the next 15 years, let alone the couple weeks it takes to save up for better parts.

Not trying to lecture, but it seems like there's been a spate of, "What's the cheapest part I can buy for my car?" and then, the following, "Why in the hell is this part a piece of ****?" lately.

the lsxtreme headers were similar but not exact......they actually didnt have air tube connections on them they are race style. i inspected them totally before i put mine on and they had seamless welds and looked great.

The collectors are the same, the merge is the same, the goofy "multipipe" primary setup is the same down to the expansion/weld locations.

Those are the LSXtreme headers....literally the exact same thing as the ebay headers, sans emissions fittings.

^^ Agreed. My $170 ebay headers look identical to those. Looks like they took two or three tubes to make a single primary in some places. But hey, they don't affect performance and who the hell is going to notice that when they're installed on the car? The headers fit fine with a little grinding on the driver's side spring mount or whatever it's called. Worst part about them was the driver's side collector pointed way too far up. No y-pipe on the market would fit it and made it a bitch to fab a y-pipe for it.

Hmm I wonder how he justified the markup then. His site lists them at $370. He was a crook from day 1.

Why can no one realize that everyone has to make money on a transaction. If he bought them for $170 and sold them for $370, he makes $200. But that $200 also goes to paying gas to ship them off, paying shipping, boxing/reboxing, then the extra work he was supposedly doing. Paying all the overhead and being in business for yourself, you probably see $20 of that after it is all said and done. Not that that justifies it, but looking at the big picture, it turns out he wasnt just a company tryin to help the average guy. He is doing the same thing everyone else does. Try to make money.

We realize that everyone has to make money on a transaction, but usually that transaction isn't one sided and usually the customer receives some form of product or service for that money. Given the number of us who've received no product, and the only service a good screwing, this issue isn't about his right to make a profit on his sales but the out right theft of our money. Especially on a 200 mark-up and no product to show for it.

I mean seriously, it has been long proven that he is just re-selling headers, so there is even less of a reason that many of those who have ordered them shouldn't have received anything by now.

The long and short is still that the man is a crook and his company was a fraud. He put just enough out there to pique the interest of the budget minded, farmed some repackaged headers and probably Y's out for the word of mouth appeal, then began collecting everyone's money while feeding us all the same rotating excuses.

Had he been legit he'd of halted orders till he could meet demand, especially given he wasn't running a web-site and so he could only sell as many as he could list on e-bay. That even swamped a he claimed he kept taking orders and money speaks ill of his business practices.

Yeah we are all trying to make money, but we don't resort to stealing to do it.

So while I understand your general point, and for the long list of sponsors to your right I'd generally agree, for this guy, not even a little.

paypal is useless after 45 days.. i too have gotten screwed by him.. i have my headers but NO Y pipe.. the headers do seem to look quite good however. Im trying to go through my bank but i've been so busy with school it took me too long to contact him and now I am out of my grace period of 98 days with the bank, so if this fails, im taking legal action and getting all of my money back for the hastle and parts

TO THE MODS: please do not delete this thread, If needed this will be great backing for legal action

Default draggin up an old trhead

I have met this guy and built some of his y pipes for him. I was managing a muffler shop in longview at the time, he seemed a little odd when he came in. He was needing some parts exspanded to finish building some y pipes. We did the work he paid for it in cash. I asked about building some headers for my thirgen swap and he never got back to me....... If ther are several of you'll out there who are still lookin for this guy pm me "I know People" in this area!! I never like hearing of folks gettin ripped off, If you'll work as hard as I do for your money, its worth spendin a little to get a lot back.
