With my custom spec Patrick G cam and Fast 90, I doubt I'm going to be loosing out on power anywhere in my RPM range

haha I would have jumped on that deal too that was well worth it.

I was talking about brand new cause thats how some ppl roll. I on the other hand as you can tell am budget minded so i wait for good used deals.

im not sure about the nitrous with the FAST 90. I do know that they have a hard time holding high amounts of boost but the pressure deal with the nitrous i have no idea

you don't run NOS with a plastic intake because if you have a nos back fire the intake turns into a hundred little pieces.fast intakes can be fitted with a burst panel.plus the cold temps of nos can freeze and fatigue a plastic intake making it more likely to crack over time.

My setup, unported 243s, custom BRE 224 cam. 85mm fast I ported gained me power everywhere, see for yourself. Click the link in my sig for all the info, as you can see, 365 rwtq @ 3000 rpm and 399 rwtq @ 3800 is pretty impressive for unported heads and a 224 cam. My setup also pulls clean to 6800 rpm.

Bolt ons vs LS6 intake heads / cam vs fast + underdrive (8hp probably)

once in a while you hear or read that a fast intake blow up but that only happens when the engine back fire remenber nos only activates at WOT i guess that is better the blowing something else!! also there are a lot of people running fast intakes more then you think

Any FAST intake above the LS6 will show gains on one another. a 92 will show more than the 90, 102 more than the 92 etc. Find whatever is cheapest and go with that.

I lost nothing down low, gained throttle response everywhere and above 3000rpm it started to pull better, then at 4000rpm it really came alive

this is compared to a ls1 intake

you already have heads and cam you will gain more everywhere from a FAST 90 or 92. You may lose some down low with a 102 but that intake is for bigger motors anyway. a 92 ported is about as big as I would go with stock cubes. Keep in mind this is also just DYNO numbers your gains at the track will be even more significant with forward momentum using a bigger intake on a heads/cam car. You may only pick up a few HP but you will definitly pick up some .10s and MPH over the ls6/pp.

There are no problems running a properly set up shot of nitrous with a FAST intake or stock intake.
