Default Where to start ? ?

Have a 00 TA that's been sitting. Where do I start when it comes to performance. Looking to get some more up but still be able to drive it out of town. Looking at intakes and so one but not sure where to begin. Need some advice. Also how much cam can I throw in before having to chance rods and so forth.

First you need to decide exactly what you want to do with the car and how much you are going to spend. There are about 1,000 different answers depending on what your goals are.

start with a lid and catback. any kind of descent cam will require a valvetrain upgrade. id get every bolt on first to maximize power.

It's a ws6 already. With true dials dumped. Have QA1 suspension also. I was looking at intakes and TB but not sure what fits with what and where to look for good prices. Wanting little more power and good rumble.

SLP lid and JAAM intake. Your 2000 might have a LS6 intake, not sure when they started (either 00 or 01). Headers and a tune.

he might have an ls6 intake but it didnt come that way in 2000.

I would start with a lid, FTRA, ported T/B and LS6 intake. You said you have true duals so I am assuming you have headers already. Those are the normal basic bolt ons. You could do an U/D pulley too.

Anything past that you are going to have to get into the motor unless you do nitrous or F/I.
