3.8 multiple misfire helpppppp? i have a 2000 firebird 3.8l its giving me multiple radom misfires and when i clear it out it comes right back miss on two or 4 so on
ive replaced the plugs, wires,all three coil packs and had my ignition module tested at two different places and was told it was good 8 times ,also replaced my cam position sensor and no luck whats next?

My wife has an 01 Camaro with a 3.8 and it is missing like crazy too. I have no idea why, but might have to do with a bum lifter and 143k miles.
Here are my thoughts. What are the things you need for ignition? Spark, air, fuel, and compression. I think you eliminated the spark from the equation, so it might either be fuel, air, or compression.
Might wanna check the fuel injectors and the compression of the missing cylinders.

i had a 1996 3.8 last year and it did the same thing, i changed up everything from wires plugs coils and nothing! then i changed the freaking fuel pump and it ran fine. you might wanna check your fuel pressure.
