Default Ceramic or painted headers?

I've been procrastinating about buying headers for some time but I have made plans to buy some from texas-speed this next week..

I know ceramics look better and help move more heat away from the block..

But what are some REAL pros and cons between the two?

any input is awesome..

honestly, stainless would be your best bet, but if your in it for price go ceramic.

The reason i say this is because the black painted ones are going to look like **** and rust alot soon after heat cycles. Now, im not saying that the ceramic ones wont do that, because they eventually will they will just stay in better shape longer

If you are wanting them to last, spend the money on ceramic. The paint flakes off the painted headers in only a few heat cycles and will begin to rust. The ceramic will keep the headers from rusting for several years before it even becomes a concern. IMO, ceramic is the only way to go!

Painted if you are cheap like me and plan on upgrading in a few years, ceramic if you are kinda cheap but want them to last, stainless if you want them to last and have the $$. Although, LPP sells stainless headers for alot cheaper than kooks, qtp, or arh (like $500 i believe).
