Those of you that have gone from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 LT headers, did you see an increase in HP. I am assuming on 346 ci you saw a loss in torque and little if any increase in HP. Any experiences?

I did research on this a few months ago. The bigger headers losing torque down low is just a theory. Nobody and I mean nobody has data to back that up. Try using the search. I know Verbs is running 1 7/8 on his heads/cam combo and he makes pretty good power. Not all from the headers of course.

on stock cubes 1.75 are more then enough, for a stroker i'd go with the 1 7/8.

I saw a dyno awhile back with a 346 h/c going from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 headers and the engine made 8-10hp more power everywhere.

One of the sponsors did a test with a 370 and it lost torque low and gained no HP.
