Default C clamps vs. V clamps

I have a 3 inch ORY pipe that i need to put onto my LT headers but I dont want to weld since I dont have a welder and would like to be able to unbolt the Y if I need to do any tranny work (looking at getting a high stall TC). So tell me what you all have used and had success with, without having exhaust leaks.

With V band clamps you have to weld the rings for the V bands to clamp on.

That looks like exactly what i need. Have you had any issues with exhaust leaks or the y pipe coming off of the headers under WOT?

If you have enough back pressure to blow the exhaust apart you need to rethink things

Never had an issue with that style clamps if thats what you're inferring
