Number 8 plug wire is loose on the coil need help reaching it. My number 8 plug wire is loose on the coil. I have not had any luck being able to push it back all the way until it clicks. They are msd wires. I just installed kooks lt's and these wires and I put that wire on before the headers but I guess that it wasnt all the way on. Any one know of any tricks to get this wire hooked up. It really sucks not being able to test out my new set up.
Have you tried from underneath the car? It takes a good reach, but that is the best way that I've found to do anything with the #8 plugs on these cars. Or you can find a little kid with some skinny arms.
Do you have some kind of ball joint fork, or even a 2 pronged cooking fork. Try to slip something like that around the coil end of the wire and push it on with that. I know how everything is laid out, I just changed my plugs 2 days ago, so I know it's a reach, but that is the best way for me to get to it.
