fuel question hey guys i have a quick question about fuel pressure. i just recently installed a racetronix 255 fuel pump with the hot wire kit. just a couple days ago i noticed that if i do not let the fuel pump fully prime the car will just crank and crank and crank then finally start. well i decided to check the fuel pressure. just cycling the key, the fuel gauge spikes 63psi and quickly bleeds down to zero. with the car running it steadily maintains 63psi but as soon as i turn the key off it quickly bleeds down to zero. now i dont know a lot about the ls1s but on my other vehicles the fuel pressure would stay up with they key off.
so basically my question is, is this normal or did something come loose or did something break?
