Cadillac L92 throttle body

How big is the throttle body on a 2009 L92 out of a 2009 Escalade? I read somewhere it might be 87mm.

Would the smaller size hurt performance?

If it is 87mm how big can I have it bored out?

smaller size won't so much hurt performance as it will hinder it

I believe most TBs can be ported and net an extra 3 or 4mm.

I wouldn't mess with trying to enlarge the opening. Porting them usually involves smooting out the inlet but doesn't make it bigger. If you start opening it up you will more than likely have an issue trying to make it seal again. I would leave it smaller if it actually is and just use it rather than opening it up.

I have to do some research to find out the size if it is smaller. If it is an 87 WHAT GAINS cannot be realized by going to a stick 90 or aftermarket 92 or 102 throttle body?
