Default Why is Corsa catback so expensive?

$1,000-1,400 for just a catback? I have heard a few at the nationals this year and they sounded ok but nothing that justified the price. One I heard on an ls1 camaro with LT's and it was raspy as hell. What gives?

The chief selling point of the Corsa is the absence of drone when operating under highway cruising conditions even though it is quite loud at full throttle. As for the raspy sound, some like it and some do not.

Still you could get a FULL hooker exhaust for less than the corsa cb lol

the Corsa name, and people will pay for it

Corsa's stance, In the words of Kenny "*******" Powers -
So as I was saying, the amount of money I am gonna be making would hurt your parents feelings. You remember the class where I taught you all how to make it rain? That’s what I’m gonna be doing every single night – dolla, dolla bills, y’all

The name certainly has something to do with it I think...
Someone posted some pics of his catback he took off for people to identify earlier this week so he could sell it because he wanted true duals.
Found out it was corsa and said he thinks he will put it back on....

Made me laugh a little that his exhaust didn't change one bit except he found out the brand, now your going to keep it? interesting.

Tis was me! One and only reason is the brand name. If I ever do decide to sell my ride, it will atleast have a good exhaust that will hopefully attract more buyers. I have kooks 1-7/8" and with a cut out and corsa it will be able to be daily driven and sound nice. Not alot of people are interested in loud true duals, I love true dual but with the corsa I can add a cut out and still have the loud sound I want with the flip of a switch. Too me it is for the name and for the potential sale of my car. Alot of my friends laughed at me also when they found out I was keeping it, I don't get butt hurt.

Way too much money for a catback that doesnt add anymore rwhp than a cheaper catback. I went with a slp loudmouth 2 with a magnaflow muffler nice quality and has the polished tips.

Had a Loudmouth and graduated to a Corsa...one of my better upgrades. Quality was better, sound was 1000x better. Like with most things, you get what you pay for...

One I heard on an ls1 camaro with LT's and it was raspy as hell
No doubt, ORY on that car...Corsa's do not rasp.

Had a Corsa and got rid of it, did not care for the sound. On my fourth version of exhaust here and it's time to stop. Stock/Corsa/GMMG/DUALS/Cut outs w/Magnaflow. Tired of listening to my wife bitch about the $$$ as well.....

I wouldnt pay that much no matter how good it sounded. IMO even the gmmg systems are overpriced. I would like to be one but I cant justify spending that much on exhaust. No wonder magnaflow and hooker sells so well.
