make sure everything will go together and make sure it will start first. If so i wouldnt think you would have any problem beating a truck... a stock internals LS1 would beat that old farm truck

Just run it.

Yes the manifolds will hurt the power, but you have the power to weight ratio advantage big time even with the sub-par heads.

Like already stated, unless its an ALL OUT 383 than you should have him covered. If he starts comin around you, turn the squeeze on.

its not a all out 383 ... it looks like a poor man build ... he was saying something about a 327 crank with bored out some makes it a 383
