Default cutout

my friend asked for my help when he gets some money for exhaust on his car. i was suggesting ideas to him, telling him cheaper alternatives and thought of a cut out, he didnt take the idea, but it got me wanting to put a electric cutout on my car.

since a cutout would obviously take away most backpressure, causing a slight loss in low end torque right? with an electric cut out, does anyone find the power peak with the cut out open, launch with cut out closed, open just before that power peak? curious about this and if anyone does it

No, total myth. You will make more power and torque everywhere with the cutout open.
