Vacuum With Larger Cams

Curious if the T-rex and such in this size have enough vacuum for the brakes and accessories that use it?

That's a pretty popular cam. I'd think if there were problems with vacuum, I'd have read about it on here. Of course, you can ask the fellas at TR, they're straight shooters.

my friend put a cam in his gto that had 10in of vacuum @ idle and he felt no change in the brake pressure

while it may have enough vacuum for brakes im sure you would experience rpm stuble after quick stops.

you can run a vacuum pump off the crank,or get a electric pump and a reservoir tank from summit or jegs.

I run the tsp ms4 cam (239/242 643/609 @ 111) and I don't have any issues. That's one of the things I love the most about the LS motors, you can do a ton to them and not effect everything else.
