Anyone Installed an Edelbrock Carb Kit??

I want to change my car from EFI to Carb. I think it'll sound great I’m sure it won't hurt my performance and where I live I haven't met anyone else with a Camaro that’s done it. Is there a bunch more money/work involved other than buying the kit and putting it on? If so what all needs to be done in order to make the kit work correctly? I want to know what I’m getting into before I actually buy it (don't want to go in blind) so any help would be great...Thanks Yall

Just to clarify (again), only the MSD box is programmable, the Edelbrock box uses timing pills and is NOT programmable. The MSD box must be purchased separately and is not part of any kit like the Edelbrock...

Just buy the intake and get the MSD 6010 box like S10xGN said

I've done it on my fourth gen and couldn't be happier. Hit up the Carb forum and read up on the threads in there

I hear this statement a lot. It is not a case of better or not. It is case of powerband. The Performer RPM is more low end torque oriented while the Vic Jr. Is more high RPM oriented. The Performer RPM makes more power than the Vic Jr. below 5,000 RPM while the Vic Jr. makes more power above 5,000 RPM on 5.7 - 6.0 motors. It is just as simple as that.

The Perform RPM also has better drive-ability.
