bbk vs ls2 intake

bbk vs ls2 intake ok so my buddy has an ls6 short block in his camaro with the ls6 243 heads. he is currently running a bbk ssi intake with the stock 75.5 mm tb i believe it is.....he runs an ms3 cam with full bolt ons and put down 405whp with a slipping clutch. he told me he had just bought an ls2 intake since its 90mm in efforts to gain some more power. as far as i know...the bbk is equal to an ls6 intake which is supposed to be comparable to the ls2 intake, so what im getting at is, is it worth it to get the 90mm ls2 intake or should he go with the fast 92 intake. an a 90mm TB will be installed along with a 85mm mass air. just trying to see if the ls2 intake is worth it or go with fast. thanks
Ha that's all kinds of backwards I have some test in a book I bought a while back and the ssi intake is pratcically a ported ls6 aluminum version and the ls6 intake was proven to flow beTter than the ls2 intake if I was him I would just buy a 85mm tb for the bbk even though ls2 intake is 90mm that bbk with a 85 will make more power and outflow it .
