Got a 99 formy with mac mid headers , i want the egr and air gone , any tips or tricks. I know it needs to be tuned out.
You can just pull the air junk off and run bolts down into the air tree's. No need to waste money on block off plates or waste your time making them.
The EGR tree on the headers can't also be plugged with a bolt, and you'll need a rubber freeze plug to plug the hole in the intake. I can't remember the size, but you can get them at any auto parts store. I wanna say it's a 34mm or 36mm adjustable freeze plug. It has a bolt going down the center so you can tighten/expand it.
You will need them tuned out. The SES light won't cause any negative effect on performance, it's just annoying.
