The QUIETEST catback setup is the SLP DUAL/DUAL and also one of the best sounding catbacks out there.

Corsa is loud as hell with Long Tubes and a cam, hooker is louder than the magnaflow. Putting a long bullet muffler in your I-pipe will help quiet the car down and allow you to work with parts you already have.

^ Yeah.. It would be dead quiet compared to duals. My buddy's Hooker CME CB was dead quiet compared to my Borla setup I had. But there wasn't much difference in our setups. Just different cams. I was just used to a LOUD exhaust and his was pretty tame at the time.

Hoestly my friend has hooker headers, not sure which ypipe, and hooker cat back, his car is louder than mine with my magnaflow cat back, the magnaflow is pretty quiet but my car is still pretty audible.

I went from TSP rumbler as it is too loud for a daily driver in CA, cops would damn near break their necks when I drove by. I am content with the Magnaflow till I can get the car to the point of being a strictly race car and td's will go on.

I suggest magnaflow but I have heard the dual/duals is super quiet.

What about the SLP Power-Flo cat back? It sounds pretty quiet to me.

The pewter T/A in the vid has the power-flo exhaust.

How old are these carbacks, I htink both the hooker and magnaflow have fiberglass packing so after 2-3 years there gona be louder, then a new one. But form what Ive sen the hooker is quieter then a magaflow. both LT ORY, and cam btw.

I've been running a hooker for about 3 years. With the stock cam it was barely louder than stock at idle, but that changed with the cam. I can't call it quiet, but I also can't call it loud... if that makes sense. My neighbors say they can hear it in the morning and they're about 500 ft away from me. It doesn't bother them though... but that could be because they've got a pro street big block truck in the garage and enjoy it.

I've never gotten a noise ticket fwiw. If you were wanting quiet then the hooker is a great choice. If you're wanting STEALTH then you should look into a stock catback with a cutout.

I run a pacesetter lt's 3' ory flowmaster out back and borla xr1 inline on the y-pipe for over one year in Cali no problems with the ms3 sounds very relaxed when the cutout is closed.

I put a stainless works 3 inch in/3 inch out with a single tip under the back bumper. This thing sounds like a Cadillac! This is on my stock 99 six speed car.

If u are looking for an SLP DUAL/DUAL i have one in my garage that came off my car with 100 miles on it. It is in flawless condition but is only the back half with NO over the axle pipe or I-pipe . Anyway if any one is interested let me no and make me an offer. Oh the tips are factory welded on from SLP.
