LS1 Hedman Headers
Hello all,
Have you seen the LS1 Hedman headers in JEGS? They are pretty cheap eventhough they are uncoated. But a complete system is only 392 dollars without the handling charge. Headers alone are 235.99 dollars.
Does anyone have or know about these? I am tempted to get a set of headers for my Hawk.
Adam 2002 T/A Firehawk #536 M6

SLP stb, Maf, y-pipe
BMR lca's & tunnel brace
Spohn Adj. Panhard Rod

Saw them in the new catalog the other day. I like the design, but am not sure if the 1 5/8 - 1 3/4 stepped would be enough vs. the standard fare 1 3/4 headers everyone is using.
I'm thinking they would work great with the parts I plan on installing, i.e. GT2 cam, 3000-3500 stall, 3.42 gears, LS6 intake, ported TB, UD crank pulley. I could be wrong though.
Depending on the size of my tax return, I may end up being the first guinea pig.
