Default Stainless Works Catback?

Do you guys know anything about these catbacks?? I was looking at exhaust over @ Byunspeed.com and came across the Stainless Works systems. They've got a chambered system and i guess a regular catback lol

I was planning on just getting a SLP exhaust, and swapping in the Borla Xr1 but wouldnt mind checking these out. If the sound and flow is good.

Yeah I think there chambered system is a true dual set up,the only vid I could find was a blue z28 and it wasn't the best clip for me to drop over 900,

I havent seen that one, the ones pictured are the regular style catback system with the big oval type muffler and the chambered system pictured is still a catback system with 3 chamber mufflers in it. 1 in the I-Pipe and the other 2, right before the tips.

I'm reviving this thread for some actual input from anyone that's had or has one. Soundclips are almost non-existent, as are actual opinions.

It's a GMMG style system essentially with an added chambered muffler in the I-pipe. It sounds a lot like GMMG but quieter and less "raspy" for heads/cam cars, but it even more over priced than GMMG.

An effective cost friendly alternative would be to run a GMMG catback ($625 shipped from madhammer) and add a powerstick muffler from Classic Chambered or Madhammer exhaust when (and if!) you think you need one to quiet down the exhaust.

Well, I don't really want the GMMG b/c it necks down to 2.5" tail pipes (Had one on my 95 Formula). I am getting the 3" CME tips, so that threw out almost ALL the available catbacks out there.

Honestly, I was thinking of the 3.5" crossflow design they have out, but can't find a sound clip at all, anywhere.

I'm bumping this because I'm considering getting their 3.5" turbo catback. Does anyone here have it? I currently have a magnaflow which is beat up, so I want to replace it, but could use some extra flow, and noticed the 3.5" in, but dual 3" out which is nice compared to the magnaflow 3 in 2 out.

I was considering their 3.5" system with dual tips but decided against tips and went with a custom Mufflex. Looks very nice and I've installed their complete system on a friends TBSS and it was great. People cry about how expensive it is but what do you expect, it's completely stainless. I remember years ago there was a short blurb in GMHTP at an event where Mufflex was at and they mentioned that they were planning on making a stainless system. A year or so went by and I called Mufflex asking if they did, they said that going from a 3" stainless pipe to 3.5-4" stainless pipe is unbelievable so they decided against it. Sounds like the materials alone make up for a lot of the cost. Ya gotta pay to play.

I'm thinking for me, that I may see a benefit with going with a 3.5" setup over the current 3" setup, but who knows.
