cutout?

hey guys i was looking into some cheaper bolt ons and came across electric cutouts i was wondering what the full advantage to them is? is it worth the money or does itjust alter sound more than anything? if so how much power can it add? thanks for any advice in advance!

If you have a good flowing exhaust the are mostly for sound. You can gain a few HP from them but I wouldn't expect much. If you have a cam they sound awesome though.

i'v seen them gain around 5-10 hp on dyno if you have a built motor or just i/h/c ls1 there not just made for sound and seen et times drop

DMH Electric FTW. I gained 17rwh with mine on a mild head and cam set up.
