Loudness battle
Yeah I would stay away from the lm1,it sounds great with a stock car,sounds ok with longtubes and a good y,but cam,heads etc, just sounds bad,I think duals sound the best out of any catback,clearance just worrys me,if you want loud and for it to sound great gmmg sounds great ,

I've never used cutouts so I can't comment on that. I have used slp lm1 with lt's and ory and yes it was loud but sounded terrible to me. I'm running lt's with tsp true duals and sweet thunder mufflers dumped before rear axle and luv it. Sounds amazing in my opinion.

Two cut outs before the y pipe is the loudest. You loose alot of sound when you add y pipe. With open headers on my cammed ls3 it was ridiculous. Just insane. Added the y pipe and it became bearable. Now I have three classic chambered mufflers and it's still a head turner.
the resonator really does nothing, theres nothing to it either.
btw... ive had tons of people comment on the sound of lts, ory, and lm1. even had people stop by my shop and ask what my setup was because they heard me driving around. never had anyone say it sounded like ***. although i am curious if its gunna be a bit too much when i get a cam this spring.

theres diff kinds of loud...the lm1 w/ lt on any setup is loud as **** and I think is has a louder cackle than a lot of stuff.
My race car is louder with bullets straight off the collectors than it was with straight headers, its a loud chest pounding rumble, not a cackle
and my old GTO with a corsa sport and longtubes w/ ms3 was the loudest damn thing I've ever had, I added a bullet to it but it didnt help much...those open chambers like a corsa sport or lm1 add to the loudness. Heres a video its loud as hell...you can get a nice laugh too

thanks!!....and I def dont drive that thing it the snow or rain LOL that jeep wrangler in the back ground is my DD.....I just pulled it out for the vid...its the first time its left the garage since november lol
