ported tb? hey guys this is a your opinion question.. but i was wondering should i try porting my tb myslef or get it professionally, i found some write ups and looks easy enough but at the same time if it was easy everyone would do it haha, so worth the try or spend the money???
Depends on how good you are, what your skill level is, how picky you are, what tools you have.. etc etc...

There is a guy on here ( WS6nJAX ) that does them for $50 and is on ebay. You send him your TB and he sends you one already done. 100% feedback on over 500 sold. When I wanted a P&P TB I bought one local from a buddy. Took off my stocker and P&P that one to "teach myself" how to do it. Took the one I bought back off and put the one I did on and wow, what a difference.
Do it yourself. Did my first one on my T/A, did 3 more for friends after that. Just take your time and stop once in a while to see your progress.
