Just got my X-pipe and Flowmasters installed i just when to the muffler shop and had a custom exhuast installed. it consist of pacesetter LTs 3" duals with X-pipe and 2 chamber flowmasters. all i can say is that i have a hugh smile on my face. it is not as loud as i though it was going to be. i had bought those flowmasters back in 97 and installed then on my 1980 camaro. though the years, now they have been through 3 cars and 8 engines. starting from 13.80s all the way to 10.02s. now they are on my LS1 and i love them. the ground clearence is not really that low to the ground at all. i was looking under a C5 today that was in the shop and it was about just as low. i have seen X-pipes on LS1s before and they were very low to the ground. none of this is mandral bent but oh well, i only spent $150 in labor to get this one custom made. i am glad i did not go with the high flow Y now.
