Default Pypes m-80 muffler for true duals

Has anyone ever done this before on a lsx build or a fbody. I watched some videos today but they were all on non lsx motors and they sounded pretty good. Almost any of the Pypes muffler with true duals sounded good.

I imagine they sound a lot like the SLP loudmouth II, but I am curious as well, I was going to buy a couple to use on my swapped 3rd gen, but have no clue what they sound like on an LSx.

You get somewhat of an idea of how Pypes Mufflers sound on an Lsx.

The 2010 MIGHT use the M-80s but the 4th gen does not, it uses a large single muffler set up. This is the part number in that kit: http://www.jegs.com/i/PYPES/958/MVR8...ductId=1017710

Pipes M-80s are very similar to XR1/LM2 type mufflers, a bullet style glasspack basically.

ive heard the catback already, sounds decent. But i am wondering what a true dual setup will sound like. Ive listened to some on youtube and they sound pretty good on some chevys with 355 etc.

Well, why dont you just buy them and see how they sound?? Only way your truely going to find out because i dont think anyone on this board is running any Pypes Mufflers on there cars. Ive asked about the M80's myself before and got no replies to it.

You can always end up selling the mufflers if you dont like them and they arent that expensive. I was gonna get them, but decided to get the Dynomax Bullets instead for my CME setup.
