Default cam break in time ?

How many miles do i got to break in a new cam lifter and valve springs? and how do drive it while breaking in....? thanks rich

Hydraulic roller cams require no break-in. Valve springs, according to some, should be heat-cycled - that is allowed to reach operating temperature and then allowed to cool 2-3 times, but that is about all.

The oil should be changed after a few hours of operation to eliminate any assembly lubes or incidental debris.
