underdrive pulley ?
underdrive pulley ? I am finishing my build and had a question regaurding underdrive crank pulleys. The car will be street driven mostly and was wondering if a 20-25% underdrive will be too much. I don't want to put an electric water pump on or worry about the battery not charging properly. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks in advance for help.
I have a hopped up 383 with an underdrive pulley on it that sees plenty of street (city) driving, I have no problems, car never gets hot, and battery charges just fine, power steering works perfect. No worries with it. Just remember the pulley aint the only part you have to buy, You will need a shorter belt also...
