Default Intake manifold advice?

Im about to have a 418 LS3 stroker built and while i have not talked to shop building it yet i plan to when i talk to them next.

Motor is

418 ci
AFR 230cc v2 heads
248/254 - .615/.623 - 112 cam
morrel link bar lifers, yella terra roller rockers
forged bottom end
motor is going to be completely 12pt arp studed
1 7/8 kooks headers

I cant decide between a fast 102 (talked to tony mamo, heads and mani will be touched by mamo)

or super vic/vic jr w/ an accufab?

Ill spin this motor as high as it makes power (cam is advertised to 7500 rpm)

Ive searched and searched and have no idea

Will you be running a 90' angle elbow atop the Vic Jr intake and a front mounted TB?

If so dont even think about the single plane combination.....you have to have a hoodscoop and the necessary room to mount a TB on top of the intake like it was designed for best results.

Trust me on this....I know alot of folks that wouldn't listen and sold there set-ups cheap shortly after when they gave up 40 ft/lbs to the FAST and didn't even make ANY more power. A good friend of mine tried it awhile back and spent alot of time and money to get nowhere (but kudos to him....thats real R&D!)

If you have a forward facing hood scoop on the car (or even a tall cowl scoop) and can funnel fresh air straight down the throat of that single plane it becomes a consideration.

Show me one hard running high powered combo with a front mount TB, 90' elbow, and a single plane! I really dont think you can unless its boosted and than who knows how much better it would be with a FAST and the same amount of boost.

Part of the problem is the elbow is too sharp and the air has to make a 180' turn to fill the front cylinders.

Also, a single plane really likes RPM....and over 7200 any hydraulic is really a bad idea (IMO).....valve control just gets compromised.....bite the bullet and go solid at that point.

C-O-M-B-I-N-A-T-I-O-N is king....screw it up and a bunch of parts that look OK on paper never pan out as well as you hoped.

haha hey tony

i saw a thread on YB with a 418 making stupid power with a single plane and thats when it crossed my mine. Looking back on it now it was a solid roller lol

FWIW im running a big cowl, with my stock cowl cut away so i would have put an accufab on top instead of the elbow.

fast 102 here i come lol
