squeel coming from upfront belt

squeel coming from upfront belt how do i tell which part is making the noise
at idle its sounds like a bearing on one of the pullys is worn (its a slight squeel) and if i spray some lube on it it quits but only for a little bit.
i am not running A/C at the moment and i replaced the idle tensioner last year.
so its either the powersteering or my alternator both of which are older (i have done a motor swap and used parts of a 99 engine and figured i would replace them as they went bad if they werent already).
so far so good till now
so anyway sorry for the rambling my question is how do i determine which one is the screamer in this relationship

Chevy posted a bulletin in 2000 about it. If your car is 98-99 more then likely is a misalignment of the belt, the proper way to adjust is to purchase the updated alternator bracket and double roller idler pulley.
