which gear set???

I was told since I have an automatic I can't do 4:10 gears cause it will burn up the trans in 4th gear ( overdrive ). Is this true? Should I just do 3:73?

I've seen plenty of A4 guys run 4.10's w/o a problem. Me personally with a A4 would do a set of GM 3.73's. Good overall gear. Really liked mine in my old Z28 set up.
