can i run it?
i recently installed some slp headers on my 2000 camaro ss but its running too lean..i want to know if i can still race my camaro ss with out tuning it..please help!

How do you know its lean? Do you have a wideband? If so, what are the readings?
I agree, if its 14:1 at WOT, then dont run it.. 14:1 at idle/part throttle on the other hand is fine.

Only if you do not mind blowing it up
Lean tune due to modifications combined with cold weather intake air is a prescription for disaster. Losing your investment because you were too impatient to tune would be stupid. Once you modify your car you will be lucky if it runs as good as stock without a tune. Why race it knowing it could destroy the engine and that it will not perform anywhere close to its true potential??????

what other mods do u have? i had just the lid kit and superchips handheld when i put my slp longtubes and had no probs on my 2000 z28. actually ran a little on the rich side. and when i got my FAST 78 intake still had no probs racing or drivingon the street
