Default new tb question?

So i just bought a portted and polished 80mm tb from a guy here on the forum. i still have the stock ls6 intake on my t/a. so my question is should i port the stock manifold the extra 5mm or bolt it strait to the manifold or perhaps find the transition plate the tb came with new?

What TB is it thats been ported and polished? Aftermarket like BBK?
If it is an 80mm blade then open up the intake opening(if it will go that far).

I ported the opening of my LS6 intake 5mm to match my BBK TB. Works great!

Yea I got it ported today and the 80 installed. I love it I can feel the difference in throttle response and power. It was a great $60 mod.
