LS6 Intake Install HELP! Went to install my new LS6 intake today, started reading the install directions from SLP and it mentions that there should be some O rings inside the brass fitting for the EGR (and to be careful not to destroy them).
Looking at mine, I seem to not have any orings in there. It looks like there are grooves where they SHOULD be.
I don't see how the EGR pipe will make a good seal in there w/o those orings...
Anyone have any advice?

Well, your SLP LS6 intake is different than mine then. There is a large brass compression type fitting with nut and ferrules already mounted in the intake where the EGR Tube hooks up. On my design I had to cut back the EGR Tube according to the instructions, slide it into the fitting, and then tighten down the nut.
I did notice that the fitting is a bulkhead connector and they did use O-rings where the fitting attaches to the intake.

After closer inspection it seems what you have is what I have and that it should work out. I was just thrown off by the documentation and picture that made it look like there should be orings in the fitting...
