Did u do the headers and cats at the same time as the cat back?

Or, when the system gets coated internally with exhaust carbon, that will change the resonance and exhaust tone slightly i imagine.

I would imagine that your perception of the sound would change over time because you hear it everyday. I ran LT's, ORY, and LM1 for over two years and it seems quiet after a little time, but when people first hear it they complain how loud it is. I imagine thats the same, although the sound might change someone I doubt it would be that noticeable

This happens with all exhaust I've seen. The thing that makes the difference is the carbon build up, the main thing I've noticed it it sounds better and usually alot less raspy after driven a while. Glass packed or not I've noted a difference on each

Recorded this for a few guys on efilive forum but it will give you an idea of sound after years of driving the Corsa.

This is just sitting at idle but a friend of mine wants a launching sound clip in the next couple of weeks.

Not only do the mufflers build up a little bit of carbon over time the heat cycles wind up "breaking in" the mufflers.... sometimes it is significant like the magnaflow/borla straight thru with packing design...sometimes it is not like flowmasters and the corsas design.

I have been tossing around different exhaust ideas for a long time and finally think I decided on Corsa (figures it's one of the more expensive ones lol) Already have the long tubes and catted y. My car came stock with the dual/dual slp but it's not loud enough
