FAST 102mm LSXrt Question
I was wondering if anyone out there has installed the FAST 102 LSXrt intake in a car, especially a C5? This intake is made for trucks and race cars that dont have a problem with hood clearance. I know a car would need a cowl hood and a modded CAI but Im wondering if its been done. This intake has shorter and straighter runners yielding more power than the regular LSXr 102 intake. Would be a nice project and itll look crazy IMO.

The clearance is tight enough on a regular 102... No way in hell you could fit an LSXrt in there without some SERIOUS modification.
And IIRC, the RT intake has longer runners for low end tq that the trucks need.
Check here for more 102 info.

Well the LSXrt was a no go so I settled with a LSXr 102mm and NW 102mm tb. I got them from Vengeance racing and they ported the FAST as well. They did a good job too. Just waiting on my fuel rails now.
NW 102mm tb
102mm opening. You can see some of the porting in the tb opening
Crappy cell phone pic but you can see some of the porting work.
Pulled cover off to clean inside and drill hole for MAP sensor.
Reg grey color gets dirty easy. Decided to paint it black. Red primer enamel here.
Industrial semi gloss black. Retained that textured look. Looks like it came black from FAST.
Bolted down. Waiting on fuel rails and ready to go.
