Default LS1 intake to LS6 intake question

Have a '99 Camaro SS...LS1 intake was swapped for LS6 intake and PCV on valve covers and throttle body were capped off. Is it supposed to be capped off? Car is a daily driver. Thanks.

You should have been able to use the existing PCV System.

Unless, of course, the PCV System was removed and replaced by a breather on the Valve Cover, there is no reason it wouldn't work with the LS6 Intake.

It wasnt capped off before, i put a breather on it so it can breath after i say that. What is the best way to have it? Should i run a hose to the back of the valve covers into a T, and still have the breather?

IMO, run the fresh from the TB to the valve cover, cap the passenger side rear, run a hose from the driver side rear to a PCV valve then into a catch-can, finally back into the intake.

Sell the breather.

Toward the front of the passenger side valve cover(within 5" of intake port).

Directly below the white dot on the TB fresh air hose in the photo.
