I give my vote to the Thundervolt 10.4's. How do you over kill plug wires? they are bigger and have less resistance than the MSD's. Don't get me wrong MSD makes good products and I have purchased lots of MSD stuff but for the plug wires I have to go to my $69 Taylors IMO. MSD's won't give you a problem either, but I so like my Taylors. No wrong choice here just preference.

Not really "overkill" i guess, but what I meant was that the ls1 wires are so short in length that there isn't much resistance, period. The stock wires handle it just fine. You don't need 10.4 Thundervolts.

I'd like to see an ohm meter put across a T/V wire along with a MSD 8.5 wire. The MSD wires are only 40 ohms per foot, that would be hard to beat. At any rate I run the MSD 8.5 super conductor wires & NGK TR 55's gapped @.050. They work pretty good IMO, Fred

Me, I went with Magnacore wires. They have low resistance and low interference, so they play well with computers. They are for serious racing and can handle temps way above what you'll probably ever need. They also have great warrenties. I got mine for $69 on Thunder Racing.
I went with TR55IX plugs. The 55's are what most NA guys go with. The IR gives that extra kick in voltage (because it's so thin), but best of all outlasts copper and I think platinum too.
