I need to get to a exagust shop about 2 miles away.. Problem is I need to have my ory put on. Is it safe to drive there just open headers? it's loud as hell too ha

I just wouldnt gun it there (be unnecessarily loud). If by some chance you get tagged in those 2 miles just explain that your on you way to an exhaust shop to fix your exhaust. Enjoy going deaf and smelling those fumes on your way.

Yea, I wouldn't worry too much. Just take it easy and cruise, you don't want everything to heat up and cool down too rapidly. I've heard of plenty of people doing this before, and I don't blame you as most Y's are a pain to put in.

I got my car out of storage last Monday I had to drive almost an hour with a open y,with a ms4 cam and a ory ,it was crazy loud,and sounded bad real bad,I was just sick of my lm1 so I took it off to force me to get something else lol,I can't believe some people think a open y sounds good! It sounds like a bag of crap

I had a problem with my exhaust and I had to drive it open header to a buddies shop about 20 miles away lol....could barely hear anything when i got there. No harm done though...well minus the irrepairable damage done to my ears haha

We ran open short headers on my buddys trans am for the summer nationals and it sounded insane even on a stock car.
