I would use one of the Pink Wires that comes out of the Fuse Box there on the Drivers side.

When i had a dual guage pod i ran my poewer wire down the left window pillar, under the speedo cluster and over by the cigarette lighter on the center council. if you have a tcs switch you can tap into the pink wire there. If you dont have the tcs switch take your center council out and you will see the harness taped up under the hvac controls. tap into that red wire. that is where i have my radar detector on and it comes on and goes off with the key. if you also need a light for the guage you can run a wire down the window pillar to the headlight switch and tap into the wire (dont know what color off the top of my head) that goes hot when u turn the lights on.

Im no expert here but couldn't you just tap into the stereo wiring since it comes on when the ignition is turned to on position? That sucks you broke your fog light switch, I myself am trying to figure out how to hook up a transmission temp guage....

Pull the Switch out and look at the Connector..there is a small Gray wire that isnt completing the Circuit for some reason.
