Default Replacing alternator

So I have a new 145 amp truck alternator to replace the stock alternator in the car, a 2001 camaro. I understand that there is a third bolt on the back of the alternator. I was under the car but couldn't feel where the third bolt is.

It's near the connector. A good 48t ratchet works AWESOME for putting this back in. A wrench should work for taking it out.

And this may help, grab a small socket to fit over the roll-pins and use a channel lock to pull them back out before re-installing the ALT or it will be a VERY tight fit. After moving the pins out with the channel locks, the alt will slight right into place.

Grabbed this pic from the other thread.
