LS2 theoretical question supposedly the LS2 is gonna come with an improved exhaust manifold/cat set up that would
1) eliminate the A.I.R. system by having higher-flow cats moved closer to the manifold. WOOT!
2) redesigned manifold for better flow as well as thinner wall (4cm to 3cm).
u guys think this would work for our measley LS1's? i just want a street legal, better (not best) flowing exhaust. i think this may be my perfect set-up!

block should still be the same bore centres.
The question will be are you using them in a C5. And also whether they keep the same exhaust bolt pattern & port location. I don't see C6 stuff fitting an f-body or much else, and who knows what they're doing with the exhaust on the 2. :dunno:

Just a suggestion why dont you buy Shorties or mac mid lengths?
Both should be fine for emissions.
Then buy a Exhaust system that works for emissions.
This wouold probally be cheeper anyways.
