Default What size threads to remove steering pump pulley

I want to remove the power steering pump pulley on my 2002 Z28 and press on a new one.

What size threads are in the shaft of the steering pump?

What size threads are in the pulley?

Has anyone tried to remove it without taking the upper radiator hose out?

I need to do a quick swap tonight to eliminate the bent pulley and dont exactly want to but the puller tool or have to drain the radiator if I can avoid it.

Not sure about the threads. I rented the puller from autozone for free, it worked great. I didn't remove the radiator hose.

You dont screw into the shaft to remove the pulley, the puller from autozone is what you want, it grips the main center ring of the pulley and pushes it off,, It cost to rent the tool but when you return it you get all your money back.....

Yo were right, I thought you threaded into the shaft for install and removal, I bought a cheap puller from harbor freight, it took me longer to grind the tool to fit my pulley than it took me to get the pulley off.
