New MAF and Air Filter Question

New MAF and Air Filter Question so i put in the new mass air flow yesterday and now when i come to stops the car almost sounds like its gunna die and then idles around 600-800 RPMS, is this normal and just need a good tune or what
ALSO any one deal with something like this. it seems my air filter is crushed kind of and its all wavys and pushed together
