Long tubes are hands down one of the best mods you'll do to the car. Great results(15-25rwhp and a lot of seat of the pants feel.

you can def feel and SEE the difference. dual dual is one of the great flowing catbacks. do some research and you should be satisfied.

Question

How much does it really matter *where* the cutout is placed?

Converter is the first mod that should be done to an A4, period.

Minimum of 3600... I recommend PTC.

Thanks for the advice all. Considering the SLP LT's and high flow cats, does anyone know if it will be alot or a little louder than stock?

With the dual/dual cat back it should be pretty quiet but alittle louder id say. I would take the cats off and add a cut out.

It will definitely be louder but just not annoying loud. I would look into a different brand because SLP headers hang really low and many people have problems scraping on speed bumps and curbs. Realistically I would expect around 15 HP from the headers and maybe another 10-15 considering the mods you have already.

At idle may not be that much louder, at WOT def gonna be louder for sure.

I have heard bad things about SLP Headers, ground clearance and price. Pacesetters are good too...I like mine and fit really good. The y pipe hangs way lower than them also

Another vote for a stall. Yank SS3600 is a good choice.

As said....stall stall stall stall stall. It seems like you're ignoring the advice and going for what you want...the exhaust. That's fine, but please listen....stall stall stall stall. Being that it's not a DD a 3600 should be minimum! If you never plan on spray....I'd say something like a PT4000 should do you right. It's a fairly tight converter for being a 4000, and will give you some top end to boot!

If you're stuck exhaust, get something other than SLP. If you want to spend SLP money, get ya kooks or ARH. Just installed ARH longtubes and catted Y on a buddy's trans am. Very nice quality and fitment. Personally I have Kooks 1 7/8th's and couldn't be happier.
