Default Bassani cat back exhaust

I am going to be getting a catback exhaust soon, and i've been doing a lot of research and all to figure out the best system for my needs. I don't want something as loud as loudmouth, and not as raspy as borla, so I was considering bassani. They seem to do well on mustangs, but my problem is I can not find any info on them! I don't see anyone who carries their catback systems or has any prices etc on them. Does anyone know where I can find this info at and maybe a sound clip? I did a search and didn't come up with any websites on where to find info/pics/prices/sound clips at. Only thing I found is that it seems to fit good and be a nice system. Thanks.

I have a full bassani system. Got it all from thunder racing, I beleive they are the only sponser that sells it. It's realitively new on the market still compared to other catbacks. It sounds great, I have no real rasp to speak of with an ORY, and it's noticeablly loud without being too loud. It really doesn't sound like Borla at all to me; borla tends to rasp quite a bit with an OYR, but this bassani system is basically rasp free when used with their headers/ORY.

I like the ball flange ends. Makes adjustments real easy while installing. I also like the ball flange headers, they don't leak and are easy to disconnect when needed.

I've had 7 different catbacks alone, and this one is by far my favorite. I also love their headers and Y-pipe.

For further review, read my reply to the "exhaust review" thread in this forum started by jrp. I gave it my full review there. The system is top notch and fits perfect.

Here is a link to the catback & headers on Thunder's site:

Here is a link to my review of the system in that thread I mentioned above (1st page, 7th reply down):

Thanks for the links and info, I saw your review on it, that is what made me get more info on it. My only problem is, I don't plan on using there headers, I am going to get a turbo kit eventually so all I am going to run is their catback and Y pipe. Will their Y pipe bolt up to fact exhaust manifolds? I'm having a doubt that it won't, I just can't see spending the money on the headers if I will only get a few years out of them, if that.

You might want to check out GMMG if you don't mind spending the cash. It sounds bad as hell. Since you're in Delaware, if you want to hear mine just PM me. GMMG

You don't have to buy the headers & Y just to get the catback. It's all sold separatly. Actually, I had the headers & Y on my car for a few months before I got their catback. Just keep your stock manifolds & Y and get the catback alone, if you want to do turbo(s) later....

Well I just planned on getting their cat back for now, I am not sure about the Ypipe because that will end up getting replaced with the turbo kit as well I think. It will be a single turbo kit, either QMP, Redline motorsports, or a combo of one and part custom. I will have to look into GMMG, I didn't think Bassani was that expensive, 650$! I am trying to stay under 500$, I want flow like a loudmouth, just not as loud. I guess having the cat back and stock everything else, then when I get the turbo, it will still be somewhat quiet, but flow enough for the turbo? hmm tough decisions....
